It serves as a foundation for building the nation. Therefore, examining the factors that influence the performance of school principals is essential in maintaining the hope of creating a developed country. This study uses a quantitative approach with a sample of principals from public elementary schools in the Jagakarsa District, Jakarta. Data were collected through surveys measuring various variables that affect the performance of school principals. The results of the study show that self-concept has a significant influence on the discipline of school principals. Motivation also has a considerable influence on the discipline of school principals. Discipline itself has a positive impact on the performance of school principals.
